Tips for Your Darjeeling Trip:
Weather: Darjeeling weather can be unpredictable. Pack layers, including warm clothing, even in summer, as evenings can be chilly. A light rain jacket is always a good idea.
Kanchenjunga View: The visibility of Kanchenjunga is highly dependent on clear skies. Early mornings generally offer the best chance.
Transportation: For local sightseeing, shared jeeps are common. For Tiger Hill, you'll hire a jeep. Walking is great for exploring Mall Road and nearby areas.
Acclimatization: Darjeeling is at a moderate altitude. Take it easy on your first day to acclimatize, especially if you're sensitive to altitude.
Cash: While many places accept cards, it's always good to carry some cash for smaller vendors and local transport.
Comfortable Shoes: You'll be doing a lot of walking, so comfortable footwear is essential.
Enjoy your serene and picturesque trip to Darjeeling!
