The Great Odisha Loop (30 Days / 30 Districts)
To ride through all 30 districts of Odisha in 30 days is an ambitious "one-district-per-day" challenge. Since many districts are geographically small or adjacent, the most efficient route is a Circular Loop starting and ending in the capital, Bhubaneswar.
This route covers approximately 2,800 km to 3,200 km depending on the detours you take for specific sightseeing spots.
30-Day Itinerary
Day 1-5 (The East): Start in Khordha (Bhubaneswar). Ride to Puri (Konark). Head north through Jagatsinghpur (Paradip) and Kendrapara (Bhitarkanika). Move to Bhadrak and reach Balasore.
Day 6-10 (The North): Enter Mayurbhanj (Baripada/Similipal). Ride west to Keonjhar (Waterfalls). Loop back through Jajpur (Biraja Temple) to Dhenkanal (Kapilash) and Angul (Satkosia).

Checklist for the 30-Day Mission
Average Daily Distance: Aim for 100–150 km. This allows 3–4 hours of riding and 4–5 hours of sightseeing per district.
Terrain Variety: You will encounter flat coastal highways (NH-16), steep mountain ghats (Koraput/Gajapati), and dense forest roads (Similipal/Kandhamal).
Night Halts: Prioritize OTDC Panthanivas or Nature Camps. They are usually located near the best tourist spots in each district.
The "Golden Rule": Never ride after sunset in the Western and Southern tribal belts (Rayagada, Malkangiri, Kandhamal) due to forest cover and lack of street lighting.
