  • Ratnagiri: This is one of the most prominent Buddhist sites, famous for its grand monastery ruins, intricate sculptures, and numerous stupas. It's believed to have been a significant center for Vajrayana Buddhism. The doorway of the main monastery is particularly noteworthy for its exquisite carvings. There's also an archaeological museum at Ratnagiri.

  • Udayagiri: The largest and least excavated site of the Diamond Triangle. It features impressive ruins of two monasteries, a large stupa, and a wealth of Buddhist sculptures. The hilltop offers beautiful panoramic views.

  • Langudi Hills (Pushpagiri Vihara): This significant Buddhist site dates back to the 3rd century BCE, predating Ratnagiri and Udayagiri. Excavations here have unearthed rock-cut stupas, a monastery, and many sculptures of Buddha and other deities. It's believed to be the "Pushpagiri" mentioned by the Chinese traveler Hiuen Tsang.

  • Biraja Temple (Biraja Kshetra / Viraja Peetha): This is the most important religious site in Jajpur. It's one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, where it's believed that the navel of Goddess Sati fell.
