  • Pradhanpat Waterfall: This is perhaps the most famous attraction in Deogarh, a beautiful perennial waterfall surrounded by hills and dense forests. It's a popular picnic spot and offers a serene environment. There's also a Shakti Peetha of Maa Pradhani and a temple of Lord Champakaswar nearby, adding to its religious significance.

  • Daragadi Stream & Waterfall: Situated in Tainsira village, this spot is a confluence point of three districts (Deogarh, Sundargarh, and Angul). It's known for its deep forests, blue mountains, and the murmuring sound of the stream, attracting many visitors for picnics and nature excursions, especially in winter.

  • Kurudkut Waterfall: This is another significant waterfall in Deogarh. Historically, it was a source of hydro-electricity, being the first of its kind in Odisha and second in Asia. It's a picturesque spot for picnickers and nature lovers.

  • Deojharan Waterfall: Located in a dense forest, Deojharan is a popular picnic spot with scenic surroundings and a flowing stream, particularly inviting during winter.

  • Katasar Ghat: This spot on the highway from Deogarh to Angul is within the Kankarkhol reserved forest. It features a temple of Goddess Banadurga and Lord Shiva, with a natural stream flowing through the temple premises. It's known for its peaceful and spiritual atmosphere amidst dense forests and hills.

  • Gohira Dam: An ideal place for picnics, this dam was constructed in 1981 and is a significant water resource project. There's also a Lord Shiva temple nearby.

  • Kuntroo Waterfall: Located under the Margarh-Kailash Range, this waterfall is surrounded by beautiful hills and dense forests, offering a trek through the wilderness to reach it.

  • Kuladera Waterfall: Situated in the Balam area under the Deogarh Forest Range, this waterfall requires a 4-5 km hill trek to reach, offering a rewarding experience in dense forest.

Religious and Historical Sites:

  • Jagannath Temple, Deogarh: Located at Purunagarh, the old capital of Bamra State, this is one of the oldest temples in Deogarh town, built by Raja Pratap Rudra Deb in 1705. It's a historical monument showcasing Kalinga style of temple architecture.

  • Jhadeswar Temple: Easily accessible from Deogarh, this ancient Shiva temple was constructed in 1854 and is one of the oldest temples in the Bamanda region.

  • Kailash Palace: This retreat for the royals was built between 1916 and 1919 by Raja Dibya Shankar Deb. It's beautifully located in a mountain-clad valley and has even been a filming location for movies.

  • Olata Bata: A giant ficus tree in the Purunagada part of town, this "inverted tree" holds religious sanctity and is considered a strange botanical phenomenon.
